Equipment for the Surf
The board is the link between the surfer and the sea. A good board is essential for anyone who wants to have a good performance. It has to be adapted to the size and physical characteristics of the athlete.
The development of the material used in boards was so great that the old (wooden) were replaced by modern polyethylene plates.
Besides the known shortboards, faster and used by leading surfers, there are the Long Boards and Fun.

Paraffin is made of the same material of the sail and the board is passed aims to hold the feet during the Surfer wave. Do not overdo the time of paraffin and always remember to use the scraper.
The neoprene wetsuit is mainly used in the winter or in cold seas. If you want to surf for longer so do not forget the neoprene. Despite holding a little movement of the athlete he is essential in colder times of the year.
